Default Drink-driving Electric Wheelchair

Here's a link to a story about an electric wheelchair user that was six times over the legal limit for driving in Australia.

Perhaps he should have stuck to the cycle lanes

Those laws are very Australian! Our drink drive laws don't cover bicycles and horse riders, but I'm not certain about mobility carriages since they have a two part controlling law, 4 mph limit on pavements, 8 mph limit on roads.

It may be that the latter subjects them to other motor vehicle legislation.
