One needs to be an expert in e-bikes (to understand the Forum) and have a memory like an elephant.
The postings on the Forum, after merely, what, 8 or 9 months has gone exponential. Fine if you know what you are looking for and where to look. Trouble is that posters get "off subject". Enter into the "Search" box the magic word calculated to locate what you are looking for and you get a reference to about half the total postings in the Forum both on and off subject.
Please, don't think I am complaining about the Forum's format: I find the humour invigorating and the banter funny.
I saw the most recent posting on the subject of (forgive me if I get this slightly wrong, but if I go back to look I will lose this work) "Recharging MP3 Players from the e-bike". There was a small element of connection to e-bikes I suppose, but then the two contributors found they had something in common: their somewhat rare MP3 players. Found a new soul mate.
Then there was the thread about the "Gearing on Torq's" that really went haywire when an interesting distraction sent the thread completely "off topic". Don't get me wrong. It's lovely to have these asides BUT it does make it difficult to remember where that something is that has suddenly become important to the reader but was only 'interesting' when he first read it.
Then, there's the 'senior effect'... what did you say about geriatrics, Slimtim?
Pistols or Swords Slimtim?
