I've seen this concept before as a motorbike but this is the first time as a bicycle. I suppose someone here will have already seen this done as an e-bike.

Thanks Ajax, interesting attempt. The much lower efficiency will always bug this type of design though, a simple centre drive onto a spindle is far more efficient, and in this design, the need for a two stage chain drive to give sufficient wheel speed adds further inefficiency.

Though harder work to pedal or drive by motor, a great posing machine around town!
