I think I had this link to the National Electric Drag Racing association nearly since I bought my Giant in 2003. I clicked on it tonight, and saw the video of the "Killacyle" running 155mph and thought I'd share (the joys of Youtube).

When I moved to Las Vegas in 2000, I use to take my supercharged Honda out to this track. (amateur night and all).

Video is down a bit on the page. Specs are at the bottom.

It might be odd to hear the cam lope of the gas powered motor cars nearby at first, but you can clearly hear it's electric when he finally does the run.

WOW! that electric drag bike is awesome, I used to be into drag racing here in the UK, I used to go to Santa Pod Raceways alot. Can you imagine riding that on the street? I particularly liked the titaniun sparks as the bike hit the ramp. Many years ago I owned a fast bike for the time, a Kawasaki ZX10, the acceleration was amazing, now I've got a 200 watt e-bike, but I am enjoying it. Thanks for the link. I have a Giant by the way.
