i'm afraid it is a 12v 6.5ah NIMH. Is that good or bad news?

Hello again,
Can anyone explain the difference between the 12 v and the 24 v apart from the fact that I presume that the 24v is more pwerful than the 12v. I ask this because Andy said make sure that it is 24v and not 12v. Is this because the 12v battery can no longer be bought or was that particular model with the 12v battery a duf un'

There should have been a full stop between the Case and the and (make shore they still have the battery case. And its a 24 volt not 12) statment of fact, the Giant Lafree never had a 12 volt 6.5 amp NiMh battery fitted.
"The battery label reads 1.2v-6500mAH-20pcs"
20*1.2=24 volts
