Default Twike revive?

Interestingly a colleague of mine at work was at a kit car show yesterday (Sunday) in Newark and he told me about this 3 wheeled plastic bathtub with a clear screen over it advertising electric vehs, and ezee were there too.

Not the Twike I think John, there's a number of Dutch velomobiles that are like that, the Cab bike for example, but there's more than a dozen makes, and it could have been one of those. One of the daftest things about the Twike was the centre pillar of the windscreen, and I think that would stop it being described as a clear screen over it.

I notice the UK agents Twike had appointed were displaying the Segway, another daft idea, truly a case of birds of a feather flocking together!

Here you can see a 350W bldc front motor in action.

ebike: Convierte tu bicicleta MTB en un potente vehiculo electrico

Here in Chile we dont have any regulation regarding power or max speed .

Default Glastonbury on Electric Bikes plus a bit of music

YouTube - Glasonbury with Arctic Monkeys and E-Bikes

This shows the bikes working in the worst conditions worthy of tank testing.

After being there for one week it felt like a military exercise both mentally
and physically. If it was not for the trusty bikes and the backstage passes
I don't think we could have lasted so long on site. Exhibitions had to set up by
Monday and could not leave until the next Monday.

Regards

Scott

Default Newbury Today

Hi

This is quite a good report from Newbury today, voted best online
newspaper.

Not a bad video of the Forte in action.

Newbury Today | Livin It Up | eZee does it

Thanks

Sorry Scott, but it's certainly not my idea of a good newspaper with misleading information like this about the Forte:

Quote: "A few pedals, a twist of the throttle and the bike boosted into action. Not exactly the speed-boost I had imagined, but a smooth transition towards its electric peak of 28 mph."

Was his speedometer calibrated correctly? that really didn't look like he was doing 20+ mph along that track. Perhaps he was mixing up kph with mph.

You're probably right Haku, 17.5 mph would be more like it. Either way, not my idea of good reporting.

Hi Flecc

Yes, do not know where the 28 mph came from.

However it does show a good novice view of Electric bikes and should
help build awareness from a rated credible source.

We all know the news is never so accurate, but designed to sell papers,
advertising space etc. I have witnessed many events that have been reported on the news and not one has given a proper or precise account of actual events . So we should all be skeptical of how accurate any report is especially if the reporter is novice to the situation. It may get the correct point across and create awareness if we are lucky

Best regards

Scott
