Default eZee Quando Owner Reviews

Reviewer: Tony Flecchia

Purchased From: 50Cycles

Purchase Price: £745

Time Owned: 2 Months

Local Terrain: Very Hilly

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Strengths:
Powerful hill climber, even 1 in 8 with ease. Cruises at around 15 plus without any pedalling. Great for shopping with large panniers as load is held low so stable. Very comfortable despite no rear springing on the two model.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Weaknesses:
Single gear so continuous pedalling only really practical up to about 14 mph. Fairly large when folded, make sure it fits in your car boot.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
A good universal utility bike that's always ready for the odd journey, since no cycle clips etc needed and good mudguards and flaps protect well. Practical even for longish runs, and will even tow a trailer in moderately hilly country.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall Rating (out of 10) : 8

NYCE Wheels

Purchase Price: $1,300

Time Owned: 2 Months

Local Terrain: Very Hilly

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Strengths:
Good acceleration immediately after recharge; good acceleration on flat surfaces.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Weaknesses:
Lousy battery life-hills appear to rapidly deteriorate battery

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
If battery's current pattern continues, the life span will be only 6 months-making this bike an expensive disaster

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall Rating (out of 10) : 5

Retailer: 50cycles

Purchase Price: £724

Time Owned: 3 years

Terrain: Some minor hills

Strengths:
Good on hills - Easy to ride (my wife's comment) - quick to accelerate - seems to be well built.

Weaknesses:
Saddle not comfortable. Lack of support in spares.

Summary:
We have had the bike for over 3 years and it has been very reliable - battery range is good although now showing signs of loosing range. Extremely disappointed to see that 50cycles no longer support the product - would have expected better. It is possible to get the cells replaced by a UK battery company at around the £250 range.

Overall Rating: 8

Please note. The eZee products are now represented by Cyclepoint Limited who are about to receive spares stocks.
