Default TK Hansa e202-hq Owner Reviews

Here is my quick review of the TK Hansa .
I bought the bike new on ebay in Germany. It cost me some 500€.
I have now used it for 5 months.
It is essentially a heavy Chinese low cost ebike with:
- Pedeltec
- 180watt hub motor (back mounted)
- NiMh 36v 8.5Ah
- Disc brakes
- 30kg
- 6 Gears

I have also added a hand throttle that I bought (ebay) and installed.
Impression:
Pro:
Low price
Very low sound emissions and vibrations from motor.
Very good Pedeltec control. It is clever in the way it offers you speed as you peddle.
Comfortable!
Speed ok – it is not quick. 25km/h or so…

Cons:
Poor brakes.
The front shocks are not good: They vibrate back and forth under hard braking: Not a good sign.
Heavy
The diodes on the battery have broken. (only one work)
Low torque! I would really like to have some more power going uphill.

Bottom line: I am happy to have bought an electric bike and it something I do not regret. This bike is a budget alternative and you get what you pay for. But overall I would say that the product is ok.
