Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 handlebar switch wiring

Hi
Just been asked to try and sort an Impluse 2.0 middrive bike.

Seems 50cycles don’t stock parts now, and Kalkhoff tell him to go to his dealer, which is 50cycles. So he is stuck and came to me


Problem is the left hand switch unit is missing /broken and all I have are the 5 or 6 wires coming out of the display unit.

If I can either get a new switch unit, or at least find out if that unit was just analogue switching or if there was electronics within it

Might it be worth trying another manufacturer that used Impulse 2? Maybe Gazelle or somebody would be more helpful.

Not heard of Impulse before. Assumed it was just a Kalkhoff thing
