I want music on my bike.

Wow. Surprisingly simple and seems to work really well. Thanks for that. Must try them.

    Bosch planned obsolescence

The engine on my 2012 Moustache bike broke down, and it turned out the main cog wheel was ... broken in half. Because it's made of plastic. And you can't replace just the crappy cog, you have to change the whole engine. I didn't expect this, although my dealer said I was lucky it lasted so long...

I want music on my bike.

Two years after my post, technology has improved and I recently bought this Livall helmet. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0798GYPT3/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_pZHXFb75Y7N4M The sound is average, and so is the power. I find that above 30 km/h the wind noise is too loud and drowns most of the music...

I want music on my bike.

Yes, it can be an issue when you stop at traffic lights everyone can hear it, and I don’t like to be that guy, and when you’re cruising at 20 odd YOu can’t hear it. Here are two pictures of my set-up. Rather primitive, but at least I can control the volume and play from the speaker itself...

Fitting issues with Badass 3.4 on Trek PowerFly LT 8

Excellent! Many thanks. Very clear. I'm still waiting for the box to be delivered, but now I have a backup plan if there's not enough clearance with the spokes. The bike is my daily means of transport on a 30-mile commute, so I really need it to work !

Fitting issues with Badass 3.4 on Trek PowerFly LT 8

Thanks. I read about that but I'm not sure about what the adaptor plate. Where does it go ? I presume it creates more space between the spokes and the frame so is it like a washer you fit on the rear wheel hub?

Fitting issues with Badass 3.4 on Trek PowerFly LT 8

Hello. I'm just wondering if you found a way around the difficulty. Thinking out loud, how about fitting the magnet on an outer spoke (relative to the sensor)? It would still be close enough to the sensor and wouldn't touch the box. It's difficult to tell from the photo, but does the box clear...
