Chain ring fitting, Haibike Yamaha 2015

I have 48t chainring now. I wanted to fit 42/48, but it did not work because the inner chainring touched chain stay. Unfortunately I did not test it yet, because weather where I live is horrible.

Chain ring fitting, Haibike Yamaha 2015

I found out that that shimano 3 spd chainrings fit. 2 spd and 1 spd chainrings don't fit. I had 38t chainring originally.

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Yea, those should be serviced each 3000 km. However they still wear out over time. Btw does haibike use bearings or friction pair in their full sus?

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

It's ******* haibike m8! They would fit trekking deore on a hardtail to increase their profit for 5 eur off a bike and use unsealed bearings in a headset to gain another 3. I am not surprised that your rear bolts fell off. Check out with your local turners or millers, they might make you new...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Well kind of. I know some guys who ride on cubes with bosch motors. But as far as I am aware off I am the only yamaha pedelec owner in the country. I am not sure what the welder will do exactly. But bicycle frame welding is his bread and butter, he does everything: full suspension, hardtails...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

I do have a warranty. What I don't have is any official dealer locally. So sending the bike back to Germany for warranty replacement would be more expensive than to weld it locally. Plus it would take couple of month to do so. And I am not sure that the new bike frame will not snap in the same...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

It is obviously your choice. But I will not buy haibike ever again. My frame cracked after 1300 km ffs. It is unacceptable. I think my bike will be ready to pick up tomorrow. I will create a thread here with photos.

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Well I can find the sum needed to send the frame back to Germany, instead of buying new Hope V4 tech 3 front brake, which I planned to get this week. However I am not sure if it does make sense from practical point of view. I think it is a constructive defect, and a new frame will get crack in...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Yes. And I did not do anything extreme on it like drops and what not. Roughest things I did was going up and down curbs without dismounting. Also rode it in local parks, so yeah, there are roots here and there, no rocks. Tried to learn how to wheelie couple of times. And thats about it.

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Oh. If it's only 50 pounds difference than it is a no brainer. You should get the cross. I think it should be fine if you will fit 100mm fork there. However, as I found out today haibike frame geometry is fu***ing retarded. I discovered crack on my frame, and I did just south of 1300 kilometers...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

Many reasons. For instance one may not have enough money to pay for better equipment right now. And biking season will end soon. Hardnine SL costs 2100 EUR and Cross 2400. So for the price difference one can derestrict and fit a new transmission... So one will get a bike which will have the same...

Haibike sduro cross vs hardseven sl

I was choosing between hardnine SL and cross models myself this spring. I bought hardnine SL. It is more fun. Weight difference is negligible. 100mm fork with lockout (when it is needed). I already swapped the fork to fox float 32 with 120mm travel. It is possible to fit a decent transmission...

    Yamaha motor troubleshooting

Well, luckily it turned out to be a false alarm. The sound was coming from one of the chainring bolts washers. I found out that it was snapped when I removed the chainring. I fitted new chainring with single chainring bolts and there is no sound. So happy end. On the plus side I now know what...

    Yamaha motor troubleshooting

650 eur plus delivery would be disastrous scenario =) I hope that dealer will not void the warranty if I will dismount the engine and send it back to them. In that case I will probably have to pay 60 quid to ship the engine both ways. But thanks for the link anyways.

    Yamaha motor troubleshooting

No I didn't, I am afraid to open the motor, I've read that they don't require service and everything is sealed. And if I could just bring the bike to a shop I would have done it 200 km ago, when it all started. The thing is I live in Russia and no one sells yamaha pedelecs here. I bought mine...
