No thanks. The sums are like this. I've got about 4 years until I want to retire (if those sums add up) and I spend about £500 a year on Diesel getting to and from work. So spending £2500 doesn't save me anything. I think only if it's got an 800cc triple.

Maybe but I was trying to avoid another road tax, insurance, fuel and servicing costs. I might as well stick to the car which I've got to keep anyway.

It's not necessarily an anti-European bias. I've just grown increasingly cynical over the years that the Euromeddlers can't keep their noses out of our business. And if there's an opportunity for another tax then they'll take it with all their noses in the trough sucking it up in ever increasing...

That's great if it comes to pass but we all know what meddlers the EU commissioners are.......if they see the "citizens" getting about too quickly without paying any tax then they'll limit something or introduce a Wattage tax. Lord help us!

I believe that this is the method used by Triumph on various models such as their Tiger800. I own a Tiger955i and a Tiger800XC. No need for restriction though as I passed my test 37 years ago.

OK so are you're saying they're limited to a speed rather than power output? And what's what with the A2B and the Tonaro Big Hit? How does one find out?
