I upgraded to the Freego from an Ebco UCR30 on 13th Jan this year. I used to get 35 miles from a 15ah battery on my ebco, but only use 2 out of the 5 bars for the same distance on the Freego. The max drive seems to meter out the power a lot more efficiently. I love the hydraulic disc brakes, and...

In fact, my crank arms came a bit loose today, so rather than risk stripping the shaft coming from the motor, I took it to the local dealer to tighten.....He rang Freego, and there will be a whole new set of crank arms, nuts etc at the dealers by tomorrow! I only wanted it bloody tightening...

I have had to. There were a few loose spokes on the rear wheel, and they sent the dealer a whole new wheel inc tyre and cassette within 24 hours! Cannot fault them on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the Freego Martin Sport 2016, and find it hard to fault. It is worth pointing out the fact that Freego offer a 2 year warranty, and will replace the bike completely if they cannot fix it within fife working days.

They are standard fit ones but slightly longer. Mail ebco, I did and they will happily tell you what size.

Does anyone know if the bottom bracket on the UCR 30 is a standard one, or does it have the sensor built in, as the bearings have gone in mine and I want to order the right bit, without taking my bike off the road. Thanks Daz

I was wondering if there were any mods or customisations that can be made relatively easily to the Ebco ECR30? I am particularly interested in removing the 4mph limit on the "walk assist" button, effectively turning it into a throttle up to the 15.5mph limit.
