    RST Fork pressure

Yeah I get that, it was just a query because the psi in the table you sent is much higher for that one type of shock. Cheers:cool:

    RST Fork pressure

Thanks for that. Looks like I assume it's closest to Trekking (Vogue air) as all the other types are miles off the pressure? Is 110-120 a typical pressure for a trekking type e-bike then?

    RST Fork pressure

Recently got a Kalkhoff Advance I10. According to the specs I've got RST Pulse LO forks, 80mm travel. Looking at the RST website, the Pulse forks are only for speed pedelecs, although mine isn't, and mine is 50mm travel, the only info I can find on the forks. However it looks like the Pulse...

    New kalkhoff integral..?..oh dear

Rutland sent me a Kalkhoff I10 as I had 2 Scotts and neither of them would charge. I had only paid £2198 for the first Scott in the sale so I got the Kalkhoff as a direct replacement. Thankfully the Kalkhoff has been great so far (c350 miles).

The Kalkhoff arrived 2 weeks ago today and I've been very pleased with it.

It's what Rutland recommended to replace the Scott, so I guess it better be. I'm on first name terms with the DX delivery man as it is.

    Definitely not for commuting

You have to understand that my touring bike was built by myself about 1981 and I’ve been coping with 1981 components such as centre-pull brakes and campagnolo levers on the down tube with only friction and my ears to guide me ;) As a result I don’t know one pair of forks from the next. But of...

Felt sorry for the Edinburgh shop but they couldn’t come down any further, so I ordered the Scott from Rutland. £2199. Arrived today, delighted.

    Definitely not for commuting

Went to a local shop in Edinburgh today and tried out a few bikes, Giant, Ridgeback and Orbea. However the best by a mile was the Scott e-Silence 20 which he was prepared to let me have for £2599 which I think is a terrific price even if it’s a bit of a stretch. I checked around and it seems a...

    Faulty eCarrera Crossfire

I had a Crossfire for 2 weeks there at New Year. Apart from a couple of cut outs, I couldn’t get the display to show more than 75% charge. They replaced battery, charger and controller. The Suntour Guy was coming from 9-12 like the other poster said, but didn’t appear. By that time I had my...

    Definitely not for commuting

Recently retired , asthmatic, my road/touring bike has hardly been out of the garage for the past 5 years as I just didn’t seem to be getting any benefit from the exercise. I used to do a fair bit of touring with panniers etc and just enjoyed going out for a run on the summer nights after...

Been away for a few days but got a refund from Halfords today.

    Carrera Crossfire ebike Battery Charger

Thanks for everybody’s advice. I’ll look at other threads rather than take this too far off topic. From riding a Crossfire for a couple of weeks I’m drawn towards similar looking hybrids but crank driven. I’m looking at the Cube stuff atm, Cross and Kathmandu ranges. Also has to be available in...
