Yes this is the same with a 4x4, the motor overcomes the inefficiency

The hybrid is not as roughty toughty Yes it may be a little less efficient on the MTB but it's more hard wearing Just as I choose to drive a 4x4 as my main car, yes I never ever drive off road and its inefficient to drive my 4x4 on road. But I like it. Same reason I prefer MTB on road.

It's 27 miles one way, then I can charge the batt all day before coming home and charge I again. I know his will wear the battery down and shorten it's life, but I'd be happy to save taking my car to work and the cost of new battery every now and then is still cheaper than driving everyday
