Hi, I am new to this forum. I bought a chinese fat bike 20" aluminium folder, the battery capacity was grossly inflated, so I embarked on an upgrade. To my expense I learned that chinese sellers are not very honest when it comes to the capacity and origin of batteries. I ended up developing battery welder, building 48V 14Ah 13S4P 18650 battery from scratch, and decided on upgrading the puny 200W motor as well. So I got rear wheel 1500W direct drive motor with sinusoidal controller with recuperation and LCD3 display. I am somewhat concern about the legal side, if I use the speed limit function of the controller. I am now in a position to build and rebuild battery packs using genuine Panasonic, Samsung and Sony batteries.
