    Help with PAS connection...

Thank you guys, it was exactly what you said vfr400, the magnets weren't close enough to the sensor, some hot glue and a few pieces of an old credit done the job perfectly ( for testing at least ) Actually I spoke to soon, it's fine when it's up in my work stand with no jerky behaviour at all...

    Help with PAS connection...

All is working, well kind of. The pas is intermittent, making it very jerky. Any ideas guys ? I'm not sure on the controller mate, it's the sinewave that's included in the 3000w kit. It's only a temp solution, next payday I'm ordering the sabvoton. I just needed a quick plug and play solution...

    Help with PAS connection...

Morning all, I've just installed a 3000w rear hub motor kit, but the PAS sensor was not included, so I sourced one thinking that it would be a simple case of plug and play, boy was I wrong. I've found the correct connector coming from the controller, easy enough, it's the only remaining...

    Starting a new project

I'm in the process of getting a shopping list ready for a greaser cruiser style bike, I've used a BBSHD a few times but really want to try a rear hub kit. I have ordered a 60v 23Ah battery, but I'm stuck on the motor. Option 1 buy a 1000w kit and over volt Option 2 buy a 1500w kit capable of...

Help with motor choice for KMX Cobra

Hi all, after a week of searching I think I've found a motor for my KMX Cobra trike, and I'm after any opinions good or bad on my choice. I've no experience with hub motors, I've only ever used a BBSHD, so any advice would be great. This is the kit, and it's going on a 24" wheel...

Conversion for daily 20 mile commute

I've done about 2500 miles without any brake sensors and have never seen the need eirher, with pedal assist stop pedaling then brake, or if you use a throttle, let go then brake, I'm sure most peoples brains work that way anyway.....

New user - Just set up my 1500w conversion

I had a very similar problem with a Chinese battery, but slightly worse, and a lot closer to the pack, I stripped some of the sleave back, and built it up with solder, and used a good 4 layers of heat shrink 2 of them beinf glue lined and a couple of layers of tape, its all been great ever since.

    Recumbent motor options.

Hi there all, I'm currently using a BBSHD on an On One Fatty Trail, with a 48v battery, but, as with all regular bikes you're limited to the size of battery you can either fit into the triangle, on a rear rack ( awful experience with uneven weight, or in a backpack on your back, and with it...

Haibike sDuro HardSeven 2016, Front Chainring increase.

A friend of mine bought a Race face 46T 103 bcd, thick thin ring, and he increased his speed to around 30Mph. The most important thing when buying a new ring is the bolt circle diameter.

    BBSHD PAS problem

Good evening all, I've had my BBSHD on my fatty trail for about 5 months being powered by a 48v 11.6Ah battery pack, and over the last week I've been having a PAS issue, the issue being, it can all of a sudden just stop working. I can see it happen mainly when I come to a stop at say a junction...
