I bought/sold one of those on ebay about 10 years ago. Good at hill climbing because of crank drive (24V ex van/lorry? starter motor), but rather top heavy because of two lead acid 12V batteries in rear box.

It's the weight which I wouldn't like - about 25.6Kg I think. Regarding torque or cadence I have my old adapted bike with cadence and the more recent Decathlon with torque - I get on with both types.
