Brose, Shimano, Bosch etc I know the bafang numbers, ie 36v 15am but they don't publish these numbers just give you the nm number? Anyone know, what voltage and contoller ratings the popular brands use?

Will a 250w motor and a 500w motor perform exactly the same if volts and amps are consistent between them? Say for talking sake both motors running at 36V/15A.

Depends, a hardtail in the hands of a good rider will go down down most things, a full sus in the hands of a poor rider will struggle to go down anything. both bikes will handle rough stuff. i'm about to strap a bafang on my genesis core 40 (2011) hardtail tomorrow. I shan't be shying away...

why? the motor make no difference to the tyres, not like you are running it at speeds that aren't achievable on a non motorised bike..
