Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

Curious how other members are getting on with their Rios now it has been out about a year? Mine is now up for sale as surplus to requirements (need garage room for motorbike) but other than that one issue where the controller was replaced promptly under warranty, covered 912 trouble free miles...

    Woosh Rio MTB

For sale. Less than 12 months old so still has some warranty and very good condition, almost 'as new' just has one small scratch on the frame. Maintained regularly. Comes with luggage rack, rack bag, a few tools, manuals, very bright CREE LED lights, comfortable aftermarket seat and grips...

How best to deal with bad drivers?

The longer route is obscenely longer. And since it happens so infrequently ill take my chances. Guess ill just do as I did before

How best to deal with bad drivers?

The thing with the middle finger is you dont know what nutter is behind the wheel. He could in a moment of rage nudge me enough to come off the bike and not brake in time to prevent running me over.

How best to deal with bad drivers?

Part of my daily journey is on a 60mph road which a lot of lorries and other HGV's use. There's no path either. I've been riding on it since May and today encountered my first problem. A HGV driven by a lobotomised gibbon comes behind me and after a short while paps his horn. He then does it...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

Hows everyone getting on with their Rio's? At around 850 miles now. Only doing around 30 miles a week, using throttle a lot more just to get to where I need to go quicker. Its getting cold and the wind always seems to be against me lol. No issues to report, try to keep up on maintenance...

So who got the Aldi deals?

Aldi has a load of cyclist stuff this week. I got some nice thermal gloves and socks, didn't like the jackets and other layers though. Possibly the best purchase is a pair of lights. Built in rechargeable batteries via USB. Genuine CREE LED's. With the front light, even on the dimmest setting...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

Nothing much to update. At 770 miles now (Do i hold the record for most miles on the Rio?). So 30 miles overdue my 250 mile service schedule. I'm not exactly sure what to actually service, so I just did the usual which is: 1. Clean entire bike with warm water and car shampoo 2. Degrease chain...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

All you need to do is bump the amps to 17 and remove the speed limiter to 20+ mph (whatever speed you want) which will of course void the warranty but if you buy yourself one of Woosh's 17ah batteries when they come in stock you should get some good range even with the speed limiter removed, and...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

Definitely fitter now than when I got the bike. I can ride on assist 1 now and rarely go over assist 2 unless the battery is starting to die. Whereas before I couldn't. I was doing zero cardio at all before purchase. That said I have gained weight anyway since despite going to the gym 3 days a...
