    36v to 48v Bafang BBS01 250watt

Sorry to disillusion you, But we aint going nowhere. Yes we might leave the EU in name, but in actuality we will still be tied to them forever, or until the EU collapses in on itself. I think there will be another referendum and they will fix it so we stay, They tried to fix it last time, but...

    36v to 48v Bafang BBS01 250watt

I am generally happy with my two bafang BBS01 250watt powered ebikes, BUT i would like more horsepower. When i can afford it, I will get either a BBS02 750Watt or a BBSHD but both of those require 48 volt batteries. So can i upgrade my batteries to 48 volt now and run my BBS01's on them, or...

    TSDZ2 or BBS02B

I have two Bafang BBS01(not 02) 250watt and TSDZ2(350watt) so here is my two pennyworth. TSDZ2 :- If you are fit or reasonably so, the TSDZ2 is for you. The TSDZ2 definitely feels more Bike like, most of the time you don't even notice the motor it just quietly goes about its business...

    Installing a 500c display on a bbs02, programming?

The 500C display works great, only problem is its very small writing and i had trouble reading the volts without stopping and putting my reading glass's on(lol), apart from that its quite stealthy, well made and just works.

    PSWPower after sales service?

PSWPower after sales service is terrible, it seems to be one Chinese lady who's job is mainly to deal with complaints by putting them off and questioning PSWPowers liability. I bought A 350w TSDZ kit from them after reading about PSWPower being a reputable Chinese company to deal with and when i...

    Gear Sensor Plug

@Nealh lol i know enough not to cut wires while the system is live, i was 95% sure i could cut the plug off safely BUT i have been sure before and was wrong, so i though it would be prudent to double check. I cut the wire about 3/16" long, then stripped the outer leaving 3 wires protruding which...

    Gear Sensor Plug

Its just a tidying up thing, Trying to tuck the plug out of the way is yet another cable tie, i have tried using a gear sensor and i hated it so i am never going to use one again so the plug has got to go.

    Gear Sensor Plug

Is there any problem inherent in cutting the gear sensor plug off at the junction where the four wires go into one, is there a chance of a short causing an electrical problem. I was thinking of cutting it off flush with the plastic box and coating it with epoxy for waterproofing.

Who manufactures this mid drive kit?

I've got the version with throttle and brakes(with cut off) but i have never fitted the throttle or the brakes as i dont use the throttle and i prefer my Avid brakes, I just got the version i did because it was only a few pounds more and i already knew that they cant be retrofitted, Mines the...

EU trying to impose insurance for E-Bikes

@oyster apologies, its euro's of course and i think its assuming you don't have any no claims bonus and are a new client. All this demonstrates the wisdom of the UK disentangling itself from the crazy bureaucracy of Brussels, but we wont get off scott free, thats a certainty, because i'm not...

EU trying to impose insurance for E-Bikes

Thanks Wicky And Chris, I wouldn't have started this thread if i had been aware of the thread you've indicated, infact i said as much in the beginning of it. Is there a way i can search previous threads so as to avoid double posting as i have double posted before much to my embarrassment on...
