Hi,my husabnd purchased this bike new in Dec 13 unfortunately he passed away in April and he only used the bike twice. I do not ride at all ,so I am selling it. There is still the Warranty and many extras worth over £100 that I do not require. Any idea of a good price for it, £799 ?

Sorry to hear about your husband.
£799 sounds a bit low to me, they are £1299 new. I think you could start at £999 and see if you get a nibble.

I think £799 is too high.
Similar step through bikes (8-Fun motor, 10AH battery) sell for £600 new with full one year guarantee.

I based my price on flecc's formula, and some guess work.

Guess that new battery is £400, and 25% used. £300 value remaining.

£1300 new price, so bike component of price is £900. 25% used, so £675.

Total = £975. Add in 6 month warranty remaining, (assuming transferable), and some accessories, then I think 1k is a fair starting point.

If I were in the market for a new freego, I'd take that deal.

But I'm not, so I'll pass thanks.

Didn't we come to the conclusion in a previous thread that warranties aren't transferable?
