Hi all

I finally took apart my old ku65 to check what it had inside vs my new one(spare)

Firstly one shunt is larger than other which may account for the 15a vs 17amp labels ?

Both have 63v caps - I think ? But there is another black thing that says 50v

Anyone able to confirm what I'm looKing at here please?

Many thanks

The black thing is also a capacitor, so I guess that controller is only good for a 36v system. It may be that the 50v cap is on the LV (e.g. 5v) section of the controller but you would need to trace the tracks to be sure.

Ahh Makes some sense as I've been running this at 48v with out issue for ages without it going pop.
