Old Reise and Muller bike

I have acquired an old Reise and Muller bike approximately seven years old. Noisy hub motor but was assured new brushes were fitted.
My issue is that the three batteries supplied are old and not holding the charge for long.
My question is, buying a replacement. Would the voltage be a problem? The model is a hybrid culture.

Can you post some pics please so we can help you choose the correct batteries. I suspect you have SLA's at the moment, but you could upgrade to lithium with a bit of DIY....
