Leaving aside my thoughts about BH, I never understood why the old Volts model didn't seem to sell too well. It had alot going for it style and practicality wise.

With no rear mech of the old bike, and a Bosch power unit, this one should prove to be a reliable and practical choice of folder. Not something that I could ever imagine me saying about a BH product.

How does the price compare to the non folding Macina Compact?

You nearly always get more for your money with KTM. The 24" compact is £2099,good spec, but is non folding.
The 3 speed BH Volt is also £2099... lower spec, but does fold.
The 8 speed BH Volt pro is £2449...higher price, but with Performance motor.

We actually did very well with the Panasonic based Volt over the years, which had good build and exceptional reliability. I can see this Bosch powered variant stepping nicely into It's shoes.

Not the only one, no. I met a couple of Germans downstairs with two of these. They kindly let me try fitting the battery inside my low bar frame (it does fit)

There was a question mark, you answered the question.

Well spotted, I like observation.

I wouldn't want a three speed I might end up like another on here who has one. Best not say who, but his bike is a designer one.
