I just purchased Trek XM700+es for the wife and me. A 45cm for the wife and a 55cm for me. We both took tests rides around the parking lot, dropped into 1st gear and boy does this baby pull hard from a stop.

Looking forward to our first real ride tomorrow.

Let the e-bike fun begin.

Ye Gods Sir! This is a stiff upper lipped British forum! We, the great British public, are only authorised up to 250w of power by the Queen's own fair hand!

Seriously though, nice bikes. I just watched the review on youtube. Welcome aboard and do keep us posted on how you get on with them both. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. Ginnie and I took a 14.5 mile break-in ride today.

First impression: It's going to take a while to get totally used to the turbocharger like feeling of power kicking in once you start moving. It reminds me of my 2.4L turbo Ford in 1979.

This bike is very heavy. I'm used to riding bikes half this weight. Having this much mass is good for ride comfort, I also purchased a seat will some extra gel padding. Lifting this bad-boy onto the car carrier is not going to be much fun.
