Default Taking the back wheel off a Windsor

Carl (or anyone else),

My wife now has a Powacycle Windsor, which she is very pleased with.

I'd like to upgrade the tyres. The front was no problem but the back looks a little complicated with the electric cable going in to the motor and little play in the cable. How do I disconnect it so I can get the back wheel off? Or is it not recommended?

Thanks

Frank
