    Help! Bosch mode problems

Andy ..yours was a rant... At least you have the grace to say that. The other suggestion that the incorrect version of software was loaded by the dealer seems plausible to me. There are now a few generations of Bosch motors some with small drive cogs and some with normal. I am now at 3650km...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

"Youthful exuberance? I could do with some of that In the immortal words of W.C.Fields "When I was young I used to run around with easy grace. I forget why they called her that!"

    Brexit, for once some facts.

How could you even begin to think this? The EU haven't been trying to make things difficult in any way whatsoever. They are merely saying that they and their 27 other members are not going to change the rules that suit them to make it easy for us to leave. Why on earth should they, they...

    Bafang bbs01b and Hailong battery

The Boardman hybrid frames have the bolts on 65mm centres which is exactly the centre of the slots on the Hailong case. The holes in the frame aren’t high enough up by about 65mm. The correct way to install the case is with the output aperture/cables pointing down. In that position only one of...

...26"+, and have come up with the following manufacturers/models: - Stromer ST1/ST2 Smart eBike Kalkhoff Integrale (various versions) Grace Easy Have I missed anything else? I much prefer hub gears. Deraileurs being the work of the devil. The Stromers are beyond the budget. I am not sure...

Hi new to the forum would appreciate some help ! i have a grace easy bike which i think is fantastic but the battery is quite limited on distance being only 6,3 Ah / 302 Wh, especially in cornwall which is very hilly , does anybody know of somebody or a company that has the ability to...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

Yes, it is ridiculous and I've already commented on that previously, Ideally the EAPC amendment should have been delayed until the new type approval metod was available. Meanwhile we'll have to depend on two things, firstly the period of grace to clear stock, secondly the fact that it's...

How not to sell ebike batteries!

Not always, he quite often used to "prismatic cells" and advertise as such But that just made him easy to spot when he changed usernames No one else on eBay uses them or at least said pouch rather than prismatic at the time I had correspondence with him before the shed accident. Luckily I...

    Help

I found having a Nuvinci easy to adapt to although I seemed to be constantly adjusting it when peddling along. The Harmony auto changing would do this for you. Although not available on the Grace, I felt it would have been better for it, you can of course turn it off.

Grace Easy, Grace MX2 urban and Electrolyte Vorradler....

...regeneration but just the impedance of the motor turning all these magnets around close to these windings. I did not notice this with the GRACE EASY since that was the 45 km/h S-pedelec (and I never went above 45 km/h). Point 2: the control display of the Go SwissDrive is substandard: for...

Grace Easy, Grace MX2 urban and Electrolyte Vorradler....

...a miracle happens: GRACE make the MX2 and ship it to the dealer where he exchanges the front fork for one with suspension. However the GRACE EASY has problems: the dealer had exchanged the bottom bracket: this did not solve the problem: he also reported strange error messages from the...

Grace Easy, Grace MX2 urban and Electrolyte Vorradler....

...it would be easier for the paperwork for the S-pedelec. The nearest dealer was located some 35 km away: so we visited. They had a White GRACE EASY pedelec (25 km/h version) that I tried and liked a lot... so we asked him to see how long it would take hime to get the EASY S-Pedelec and the...

Grace Easy, Grace MX2 urban and Electrolyte Vorradler....

...going down hills... so this means a hub motor. My friend was less hung-up on the recharging but wanted a good looking bicycle. So a GRACE EASY with the Gates belt drive matched my desires, and a GRACE MX2 URBAN was the choice of my friend. Since I would be going 15 km each way to work...

road bike frames for electric conversion

Clockwise, Those are some good points. I'll keep that in mind. The appeal of the Grace "One" and other e bikes has zero to do with any desire to jump or go off-road. I'm looking for a modest electric bike to use casually around town. I just have a preference about the way the frame looks. -N

Looking for commuter bike for myself and wife

I personally like the rider of the bike but the Grace is Easy does not have a great range considering it is circa £3k. There are plenty of Bosch bikes around which would give you more range as well as other hub powered bikes. The FreeGo Regency is a nice bike we sell this range but it would be...

    Hi from Fife

Hello again Blythe, I bought the Rose direct from Rose Bikes, Germany. They were very good to deal with and when I had a minor problem with the bike they arranged its pick-up and return to and from Germany in just over a week, at no cost to me. It's not a bike for everyone but it's a very-well...

Looking for commuter bike for myself and wife

The Grace Easy would indeed give you a decent workout whilst allowing you to choose to arrive unflustered, as long as you dial your effort back a bit and rely on the bike to do the hard work. It's easy to push as hard as you normally would on an unassisted, which would mean you would arrive at...

Looking for commuter bike for myself and wife

...look of freego regency. I, although keen cyclist 50 plus miles per week in decent weather (it is Scotland tho) like the look and idea of grace easy pedelec as to my understanding you would still get decent workout although max assist should mean turning up at work not too sweaty. My apologies...
