    Juicy Classic

Standard 10Ah as I couldn't afford anything more on the cycle scheme. From what I can gather it should give me enough range on low/medium assist :) I saw the difference between the two sets of lights and I really didn't know what to make of it. I've got a better idea of what's going on now :)

    Juicy Classic

Ah that makes sense then. So I guess it's one of these things where I'll do a test run of my commute and make sure it all goes without a hitch and watch the lights as I go to see if the same occurs on mine as yours :) I did notice that if I was using the throttle to pull away at junctions the...

    Juicy Classic

It's bought as a commuter horse really haha I test rode all the bikes I could get my hands on and the juicy gave me the smoothest ride and was by far the easiest to ride with the electricity off. So are they both a basic indication of the battery life remaining? I just don't want to get...

    Juicy Classic

Hi everyone, I finally got my juicy classic through the cycle to work scheme last Thursday. As soon as the certificate was paid for by work juicy bikes had it with me the next day!! I have been riding it every day since then just for 5 miles a time just building myself up and I've got a...

    Woosh Mono

It's the dark blueberry that I want. Suppose I'll just have to wait for this certificate to be sorted now :)

    Woosh Mono

Bob, do you have any pics of the different colours that are available? I can't get a clear pic of the different ones on the website :)

    Woosh Mono

Thanks for your reply Bob. I guess I'll wait until everything is approved before looking at colours. I honestly don't think I mind what the color is :) I personally just think that the snowboard style helmets are fashionably more acceptable.

    Woosh Mono

The one I decided on was one of the £20 snowboarding helmets from aldi :) I had been trying on the skateboardy style ones and just happened upon them. They're great because they're super comfy as well as being safe. Bob, I am somewhat curious about the process from here... I got the quote from...

Hi. I live in Newcastle and I've been to the electric bike shops in the area. There is electric cycle centre in Penrith, they sell and rent ebikes out and have a decent range in store. Best to email them first though to see what range they have in at any time. The electric bike shed in south...

    Woosh Mono

After having a long think and lots of test rides I've started the process of getting an ebike through the cycle to work scheme. I eventually settled on the juicy classic with a throttle added on :) I'm so excited for the whole thing to start moving now :)

    Woosh Mono

What a shame about the mono. I'll have to have a think then. Thanks for your alternative suggestions, do any of these have throttle as well as pedal assist, other than the zephyr of course?

    Woosh Mono

Hi all, The mono is out of stock at present (until 2014 which Ties in nicely with my student loan) but I was wondering if anybody here had any experience with the mono? Either good or bad, as it's a great price for a bike that will easily help me to uni and back. Thanks in advance Rosie

Thanks to both of you! As I've previously mentioned, I'm a student so have a pretty low budget but I'm hoping that pretty soon the bike would have paid for itself over a £60pm travel pass... Only have a 16-20 mile round trip and I can manage to cycle normally for about 45 mins just pretty slowly...

    Any ideas

Think I've decided I would rather splash out for a new bike with known origins and a warranty. Thanks for your help.
