    Expected Lifespan of an EMotor

    Geared hub motors have a rudimentary clutch with nylon pinions and excessive use of the throttle, especially on hills and setting off without support from your pedalling will strip them. They can be replaced as can the internal bearings and the motor will run well again. Sent from my iPad...
