If the Dolphin battery is too big for your frame, you could consider the Rocket which is a smaller unit. The obvious compromise for size is the capacity but by using LG cells it can get 12.6Ah at 36v.

Would it be possible to use your current torque bracket but turn it around ( kind of mirror what you have already) so that the clamping point for the fork is at the front of your new fork? If this can be done, you could always drill and tap a fixing point onto the front part of the fork
