something tells me you wont like any road legal ebike, they will all only assist you to 15.5mph and most use torque sensors now so you have to put the effort in to get the power out. ps. that 400w bosch battery is £500+ alone

    Carrera Vulcan e problems

i test rode the vulcan and crossfire and theyre pretty solid bikes for the money, but the issues with the suntour system just werent worth dealing with for me, the Bosch motor and battery both come with 2 year warranties and the rest of the crossfuse is decent spec shimano gear so figured worth...

one thing i will say about the bosch drive units/torque sensors is that you cant get away with being lazy all the time due to lack of throttle and having to put force through the pedals to make the motor work with you. shes now wearing my ncx seat post and the rear rack i took from the Krieger...

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

probably wouldnt compare them too much, theyre totally different bikes at totally different price points however my krieger has been a great warhorse over the last 2 years & 4 months/3500 miles.

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

will probably put a review up in couple of weeks or so of use but it sure does roll a lot better than the big tires on my Krieger, do miss the throttle for pulling away at traffic lights tho

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

went and had a look at my local halfords, very neat little thing, considerably lighter than my krieger too. at £1350ish i couldn't say no for 2018 bosch setup, it runs virtually silent and the assist feels really natural, now ive got to find a stand that will fit it nicely and some decent...

I'd get it serviced at a proper bike shop, we have a cycle Revolution here in Ipswich which is a cube dealer and their services are reasonably priced.

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

the Cube is a fair bit more expensive than the Crossfuse (£1440 with cycling discount, plus another 8% buying halfords giftcards) ive sent Azzuri a PM to ask how its been and he has yet to reply

any impressions on the Carrera Crossfuse (or the Bosch Active Line Plus)?

its been out for a little while now but theres no halfords within miles of me that has stock to test ride, the new bosch motor really intrigues me. rest of the bike is decent spec for the money but its motor im really after impressions of.

Best Halfords bike for 3.2 mile each way daily commute?

ive already taken the Crossfire-E out on a test and took a little getting used too as its all torque sensor and could really tell it was back heavy compared to my mid drive Krieger. Sadly neither of my local halfords have got the Crossfuse in yet to try so im keeping my eyes peeled.

New Bosch drive Halfords Carrera bikes

im assuming its a standard bosch battery anyway so can buy from anywhere, but 10% british cycling discount probably makes it cheaper than other sources
