    Error 30

Hi everyone. I have a wisper 806 torque bike. My spare battery has stopped working. It's just over 2 years old. When it's on my bike and I turn the power on the LCD screen says Error 30. Does anyone known what that means. There is no power at all. Many thanks

You said earlier that it is not suitable to change modules while on the go? Why is that. Surely of you have replacement modules, then it would be a simple case of just taking them out and putting the charged ones in?

One more question please, does the cost of the unit include all 3 modules? Oh. And how long or what lifetime could you expect from the modules.

    Rubbee X Introduction

What mileage can a rider expect, given that only a rough mileage can be estimated as i realise it depends on the weight of the rider etc. And can you buy extra batteries if you want to go longer distances than you might get from the unit, and can you easily change the batteries if you are on a...

    E bike dealer

No. I ordered mine from ebikes direct as stated, but amps are the main suppliers of wisper bikes and i memtioned my good experience to David so that he would be able to see that they are doing an excellent job of selling his bikes and accesories

Case studies - how has your electric bike changed your life?

I hadn't ridden a bike for many decades, and after retiring early, i had been living a sedentary life style. I live in a very hilly area and decided to buy an ebike. I have just done a 23 mile ride down the back lanes. I could never have imagined doing that a couple of years ago.

    E bike dealer

I have wisper 806 torque purchasec last year from ebikes direct with help from David at amps. This year, now that i am more confident in the bike and my own abilities i decided to buy a spare battery, so that i can go longer distances. I emailed ebikes direct asking them if they still do the...

Do you cycle your ebike in the rain?

This thread sounds a bit like the old joke that you shouldn't take your carbon bike out in the rain because it will melt if you do.:)

Do you cycle your ebike in the rain?

I am a leisure cyclist and can pick and choose when i go out. I choose not to go out in the rain, but if an ebike didnt work in the rain, then the sellers would have to tell its customers this otherwise i can see very few ebikes being sold. I dont think there is any reason why an ebile wouldnt...

Hopefully going to buy a wisper 905 torque

Sorry if i sound stupid, but if you were going downhill, why did you need assist 4 ? If going downhill, i turn it down to 0 and use the highest gear. On the 806 torque with nexus gears that means gear 7.

Hopefully going to buy a wisper 905 torque

I have a wisper 806 torque that i bought with Davids help last year. Beautiful bike. Fantastic ride. All ebikes are heavier than non electric bikes of course. I love my wisper. Very stylish, gets a lot of admiring looks and comments and is fantastic to ride. Not clunky at all. I would recommend...

I saw these bikes on youtube. The video clip made the bike sound quite noisey. Is this the case?

    hi, opinions wanted

I suppose for someone like me who isn't proficient with this sort of thing, does find the arguments for and against different things to be a bit of a minefield . Personally, I am a bit of a "if it ain't broke don't fix it sort or person" so anything I think will allow me to leave well alone is...

    hi, opinions wanted

I understand what you are saying. I was looking at report like this one. Being a bit of a Ludite with all things mechanical, for me anyway, this is the way to go. Lol
