Had a cracking ride this evening at our local centre (Llandegla). Similar to Phil's post, people were interested, no negative comments at all and as someone said 'it beats sitting in the sofa' :)

I've only used it once from brand new plus this new generation of batteries are not meant to be drained according tho Bosch. But either way as this is a brand new battery I was expecting distance traveled and range remaining to tie in... Certainly not to travel a very short distance and lose 13...

Sorry for another battery q! Took my new Cube for first ride yesterday (Bosch 500w performance cx).. Range before we set off 106m (Eco) .. Less than a mile later 93 mile range .... 3 miles later was down to 60 miles! It's this normal? Brand new battery. We did a total of 11 miles ... Mix of up...

Had a couple of blokes tell me I was cheating (this was when I was demo'ing a Haibike) ... I just asked who they thought I was cheating as I didn't know them from Adam and that I wasn't a great believer in 'no pain no gain' ... I'm more of a 'if it's going to hurt then let's not bother' sort of...

Good spot :) Got some temporary Nukeproofs for the time being ... Dealer ordering some DMR's in. Yes, it's surprising, given the cost of these bikes but none we've bought (and we've10 between us!) have had pedals, not even my sons extortionately priced downhill Scott. Usually manage to sweet...

Hopefully better luck this time. Out for first time yesterday on new bike, nice mix of clay mud, rocky climb, hills and muddy bridleway ... Loved it.. No sense of humour failure even when he who was leading took a (uphill) detour on the way home! I didn't hold him up and he was pleased not to...

First ride today :) Love it! Mainly Eco with occasional Tour. Very happy with handling over a mixture of road, rocky climb and muddy bridleway.

Ahhhhh thankyou ... I'm not blonde for nothing lol. I did press it a few times when I was standing next to the Bike but it didn't trundle off on it's own our anything :)
