    Riese+Muller Delite 2018 Nuvinci Review

This just feels weird, tbh. OP has a really nice new bike and he is excited about it and shared that with us. I enjoyed his post and I look forward to hearing about how he gets on with it. I would also have enjoyed his post if he'd bought a different bike. I like ebikes and I come here: (a) to...

Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors

What an excellent and clear response. I'm not really in the market for a bike at the moment, but I look forward to visiting your new Manchester showroom when it opens.

Raleigh Motus Cross bar. Is upright ridiing style possible

I see. That all makes a lot of sense. I asked because my back issue means I can't get my leg over (fnarr fnarr) these days, so I have to use a step-through.

Raleigh Motus Cross bar. Is upright ridiing style possible

Is there any reason why you specifically want the crossbar version?

Gepida Reptila 1000 (2016 model) - First impressions

Thanks very much for this response and the link to the article/video. Now that I try to think about it, I can't remember how I mount and dismount. I am going out for a short ride later and I'll check to see how I am doing this!

Gepida Reptila 1000 (2016 model) - First impressions

Right. I've had more of a chance to have a play with my bike now, so here are some more impressions. I am lucky enough to live near the Fallowfield Loop cycle path in Manchester. Last week I took the shorter route to the St Werburghs end of the path. This weekend I cycled the other way up to...

    Kalkhoff Sahel Compact Impulse 8?????

I might look at the 2017 Orbea Katu-e 20 (the 2016 version has fewer gears I believe). This costs £1999.

    Gepida Berig 1000

I have no experience of the Gepida Berig 1000, but I have recently bought a Gepida Reptila 1000 and I am very happy with the bike. I posted a "first impressions" review of the bike in the Reviews forum here.

Gepida Reptila 1000 (2016 model) - First impressions

WOW!! Second impressions: I bought this from Nationwideebikes. They went to a fair amount of trouble to source one of these in 54cm. They had done a nice job in setting up the Bosch Intuiva controller with the correct time etc. They had also done a (very) short run-in test, which was reflected...

Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors

It doesn't matter what they're threatening you with, they sold you a defective bicycle and they MUST put that right. I would talk to the Citizens' Advice Bureau and show them the email as a first step to see whether in their opinion 50cycles' offer of a second new motor is appropriate. BTW...

Surprising how quick these Brexit price rises have happened

No. I've never owned an electric bike. I'm looking into buying one, so I joined the forum on 31st July 2016.

Surprising how quick these Brexit price rises have happened

There's really no point trying to offend me, if that is your intent. It won't bother me in the least.

Surprising how quick these Brexit price rises have happened

But he is not going, "blah blah blah". He has quoted specific figures. You can either dispute them or not bother, but don't dismiss them. He took the trouble to explain and itemise his costs - the very least you can do is to acknowledge the fact that he took the trouble to do it.

Surprising how quick these Brexit price rises have happened

Since the BREXIT vote the pound is roughly is worth roughly ten percent less. Therefore anybody importing anything will be paying on average ten percent more (obviously this will vary with where the import is coming from). So who do you think "will be making a lot of money"?
