    Collection day today!

Cheers Tom, Yes I am enjoying the few miles Ive done. Only had it two weeks and been busy with with work. Did 30 miles last weekend and will be out again on sat though. Had my GoPro with me last weekend, so did my first YouTube clip as well. Just a little clearing off my local cycleway...

    Collection day today!

Picked up the long awaited tank today. Maybe a little ironic that it was snowing.

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

I have thought of that and will look once I've got the bike. Cheers for advice. Always good from someone who knows there way about when I'm new to this.

I should add that I added a shorter seat post for my test ride. This is the original that the shop is going to cut down before I collect. Sorry, should have added that rather important comment earlier. :)

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

SW...the frame is a 46cm (medium) , and my doubt in buying it was that frame was too big. That's why I went back and tried it again today. Standover height is about 80 cm. I gave it a good try, and stopped quick a few times, jumping forward off the saddle. No issue with hitting the bar. I...

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

Hi Tom, yes. I tried a few 3" tyre bike, including the Levo. I like the feel and the ride of the 4" bikes. They do make a 4" Levo version, but only available in the US. It's not cheap (£4000) and if you add the shipping it takes it well out of my price range. Although I have got a holiday...

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

Whilst i like the idea of the full, I think i will probably end up with the hardtail to cut back on running and maintenance time and costs. I suspect as you say until I've had the bike for a while and ridden it over a range of terrain, i won't really know for sure. Even then I won't have...

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

Hi Richard, I'm not sure I will be able to give much useful information as I've only had about half an hour with each motor but I'll try where I can. To be honest all three motors seemed ok. I felt the Yamaha and Brose motors gave a bit more instant pick up when at the mid power levels, which...

Do I need Full Sus on an electric fat bike?

Cheers Tom. Helpful to hear thoughts of someone who has ridden fat bikes too. From what you say, and other have said I think its a toss up between them, and hopefully whichever I go for I won't be disappointed with. Awesome film clip too of your travels.

Do I need Full Sus on an electric fat bike?

Mind you I said that about my jump stilts, and they ended up costing me a lot. Mostly in travel and all the padding. Not to mention hospital visits. ;)

Do I need Full Sus on an electric fat bike?

I've been looking round today to see if I can hire a non e fatbike to give a serious work out too. But as you say Its probably just something in me that wants to pose and say look at my big wheels. lol

Do I need Full Sus on an electric fat bike?

Thanks Eddie. I have ridden a few now, including 4 bikes on plus size tyres. 2 specialized, 1 Haibike and a Scott. As I mentioned to SW I've not ridden them on the trails, only round park, up and down grassy banks, steps etc. They didn't really seem much different at all from standard tyres...
