I bought two panniers and the frame from A2BShop; the panniers are very well made, and A2B cut me a sweet deal where I got a nice discount for buying all three at once.

The build quality of the A2B machines is very good, and their after-sales service has been exemplary, I've had cause to report a problem and Karl there replied to an email I sent (not expecting a reply) at 10pm last Sunday night!

Hello from another new member. Eagerly waiting delivery of an A2B Shima

it's 15 per day, and thanks, yes, I will be keeping the battery topped up to prevent deep cycling it and thus hopefully maintain its life. the A2B bikes have regenerative braking, an advantage of a hub motor. Another thing that appealed is that A2B have adopted the EnergyBus standard, which...

Any fellow A2B Shima owners here?

Actually, there's an additional irony. Until early January I had a beard and looked vaguely like that picture.. Now I've shaved it off I look nothing like it.

Any fellow A2B Shima owners here?

Mine is arriving end of the week. Just wondering if there are other owners here able to share hints and tips. I ordered mine with the standard battery; although there's an extended capacity battery apparently you lose the full boost feature.

What are the major factors that persuaded you to get an electric bike?

A few reasons for getting one. I currently drive to work because I'm, well, lazy, and enjoy the comfort. Reason 1 - not going to be able to drive to work soon Soon I'll have no choice other than to cycle or take the bus, because we're moving offices and there will be no parking there! A bus...

Hello from another new member. Eagerly waiting delivery of an A2B Shima

thanks! I have worked out that even a good car journey into Cambridge only achieves 21 mph (approx 7 miles, 20 minutes), and on bad days it can be barely half that (8 miles, 40 minutes for an indirect route). And that's only possible because my employer is happy for me to start and finish late...

Hello from another new member. Eagerly waiting delivery of an A2B Shima

thanks for the recommendation on the lock. someone sent me this link: http://www.soldsecure.com/search/ so I was able to verify that products on websites were correctly rated. Hello from another new member. Eagerly waiting delivery of an A2B Shima

Hi, I live near Cambridge, cycling city, and ordered my first e-bike for the 15 mile journey to work and back. It's downhill all the way there, but getting home can be a drag particularly after a hard day at the coal face! I ordered an A2B Shima, one of their special offers. I had wanted a...

I just ordered a Shima off A2B, my first electric bike. My employer is moving office and there will be no parking at the new one; also, with the worsening traffic an e-bike will be just as quick! Anyway, they have a few listed here: https://www.a2bshop.co.uk/Ex-Demo-Electric-Bikes/ But also a...
