    2018 Giant Quick-E+

I am one of those 'real' cyclists and the reason I purchased an ebike is so that I can continue riding into the winter when the winds and general hassle of the cold, wet mornings make me take the car instead! I'm 36 so probably a bit younger than many ebiking converts, but the move for me has...

    Smaller bike with good range

You can order them in through your local bike shop if non are available already. That's what I did and having picked it up a couple of days ago, I am very pleased. It looks to be fantastic value for money in terms of components and has made my commute much faster and easier.

    Oxygen v Ophelia!

This is precisely the reason why I have gone for an ebike. I use a road bike to commute to work currently. In the decent weather it's great, but once it gets to this time of year I tend to get fed up with the bad weather (particularly head winds) on the way home after a 10 hour day. For this...

    Cycling in the Rain!!!

Wind really picking up here now. It's to get worse over the next few hours. Definitely not weather for cycling in.

    Cycling in the Rain!!!

No doubt you'll get a tailwind the whole way home! ;-) Do you record your commute on a camera? Will be interested to see how the bike copes if the wind is as bad as what has been forecast!

Hello from Newbie - kit advice

Thanks for the reply guys. Two quite conflicting recommendations! I had ordered a BBS02 and then decided to cancel as I was unsure whether it would be too much for the 10 speed road bike. I had thought about putting it on to the Carrera Fury, but then had to factor in the extra costs of buying...

Hello from Newbie - kit advice

Hi All, Firstly, can I say how impressed I've been with the forum in the short time I've been on here. The e bike world is new to me, so I am learning all the time! Basically, I have been biking for around 5 years ago now. I have a decent level of fitness which has mostly been attained through...
