Where would I find Bafang XF07 Bearings?

Ach well ! Ended in Failure - It doesn't come apart the way you would expect so I bent Shaft with a bearing puller. Will Just get another XF07....So close! yet so far! Looks like all components slide on from one side. Time and effort ratio exceeded. Bearing puller costs matching...

    Youtube Misinformation

Ashley Neal is a Motornormative Driving and cycling Instructor using cycling to promote himself. He talks quite a lot a of nonsense and should be taken with a large pinch of salt. He is right about terribly designed electricbike shaped objects tho. Best Avoided.

Where would I find Bafang XF07 Bearings?

The most boring thread continues....Motor Side bearing is 16003RS. Can be drifted out with a Piece of 25mm conduit long enough to cover the Cable. 30cms is plenty. Removing this bearing....Standby...Working on it. Might need a bearing puller for this one but not sure how yet.

Where would I find Bafang XF07 Bearings?

Thanks, really useful. For info - These bearings have done 8000 miles in terrible salty scottish winters on a daily use cargo bike 100% motor uptime apart from an easily fixed pedal sensor, I reckon thats pretty good. had a regrease done too.

Is an undercurrent of racism and misogyny undermining The UK Electric Bike industry?

I think it is. Actually pretty amazing for an industry administered forum. Customers come here for help and it looks like some dealers could make half of their customers uncomfortable and everyone else wants all the the brown customers to go home. Dunno who is running here but it's not doing...

    Ebike report from south Korea

Compared to Shanghai...much disappointment! Internal combustion rules supreme, cycle infrastructure pretty poor. People on bikes take no prisoners. You are expected to get out the way. Cycling seen as a leisure activity, lots of road bikes, offroading not really a thing. Driving...

    How to carry 8 children

I used to have a conference bike. The gearing is kept low to keep top speed down and get underway. It's still faster than marshalling 8, 2 year olds that keep stopping to poke animals, pick up leaves and move in different directions. It's visual presence is as large as a street cleaner...

Refreshing and bleeding hydraulic brake fluid?

Never done it unless damage removes fluid. The hope brakes on my epic have been boiled in the Alps, and the Shimano s have never been touched. The people on Alps trips that faffed about with their brakes, wore out discs using the wrong pads or would go through pads in one descent. I've...

Advice Needed Re: Waterproofs for Commuting

Sealskins socks are useless! Too thick and bulky, They hold all the moisture and are a one hit wonder with lengthy drying time. Overshoes more effective for a cyclist. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-850F using Tapatalk

    The oldest bicycle?

There are also some old bikes at Drumlanrig castle in the borders in the bike museum. I think the Germans have a good claim for early bikes. The Scottish guy was the first to be fined for causing fear and alarm or something. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-850F using Tapatalk

Rides illegal machine - kills pedestrian & blames her........

I can report much success with my pet squeaky toy instead of a single ping bell. It has a long duration, is funny, doesn't panic people and they seem pretty predictable. Dogs pay attention too...although some just sit and wait for the toy!! A minor hazard taken into account. Sent...

Newbie question, car lead acid batteries, 4x12v in a trailer. so weight not a problem.

I could explain why but life is too short to engage with a suspected forum troll who knows fine well he's asked a stupid question and wants a rise out of us. Pictures with a recent newspaper in shot or we are wasting our time. Sceptometer at 10. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-850F using Tapatalk
