    DAS Kit C6 fault

No but the rear wheel motor was replaced by an Ebici dealer in Spain a couple of years ago. I bought the bike very cheaply and with the new motor it has been excellent - HOWEVER durong my ownership this fault has always been there. I guess I'm answering my own question!

    DAS Kit C6 fault

Thanks, my separate investigations are leading me to that conclusion yes. I'm away in Spain at the moment and will take it down when I get home.

    DAS Kit C6 fault

Thanks that sounds feasible. I don't recall seeing a set up screen for that so I need to be doing a bit more research thanks.

    DAS Kit C6 fault

Speed - the bike is found maybe 12mph and the indicated speed may be 1.8mph. It varies by an onconsistent factor. Never shows more that 2.7mph.

    DAS Kit C6 fault

I have a EBici bike here with faults. I have been through the set up procedure a few times but to no avail. The faults - power assist comes in and out randomly and the amount varies regardless of the level (1 to 6) selected. The display shows inaccurate information regarding speed etc. Is...

    Start up throttle mod?

That's the case with some but many don't need pedal movement. I put a throttle on someone's otherwise "pedelec only" Falcon Ebike some time ago (the plug was sat there ready for it in the controller box) and that powers off from standstill. Most of the Chinese ebike kits are the same. This bike...

    Start up throttle mod?

I'm dealing with a simple controller here. I dont see the throttle itself having much effect. I'm pretty sure there'll be a mod that can be made to the board to achieve what I'm trying to do.

    Start up throttle mod?

I have a Chinese generic 36v rear hub drive, silver fish battery powered bike come into my possession. It had no battery so I've fitted a spare 48v battery that I had. All runs well, surprisingly good bike. There's a 2 position selector switch on the left side. "Start off" or "Pedal" There's a...

Change low voltage cut off - MXUS controller

Yep that's the one Paul thanks and well spotted! Are my pics clear enough for you to see the board d8veh?

Change low voltage cut off - MXUS controller

If still not sharp enough I'll dig my digital camera out and have another go as the phone camera obviously has its limitations. Thanks

Change low voltage cut off - MXUS controller

Hope that's come through ok. The controller housing states 48v. There are no jumpers to change the LV cut off

Change low voltage cut off - MXUS controller

Hi, can anyone help? I have been running a 500w MXUS kit on a bike for nearly 2 years and with a couple of thousand miles on it can say its fine. Its been running 14S Lipos and a shunt soldered to give 30a peak draw. Whilst it has been fine I have tired of messing with lipos and have fitted a...

    batteries and the ah con

I don't have a BMS and lipo packs don't have them. There are dangers but they are overplayed by people who have read all sorts of scare stories - but you do have to be careful. If I get on it I'll post a picture of a "puffed" 6s, 5000mah pack I have just pulled out of a battery. As I said above...

max safe limit when overvolting/amping a 48v 1000w brushless gearless hub?

I see that none of the established pedelec "experts" (if I may respectfully call them that) have come in on this thread. One area you may be mixing up is the difference between the power drawn from the battery and the power available at the rear wheel. Quite a lot is lost in iefficiency...

    batteries and the ah con

The worse thing about RC Lipos is that you have to be fairly disciplined and balance charge them regularly. I don't Im afraid - I use a DC power supply set at 58.5v to bulk charge as one big pack.check them infrequently and am always alarmed by how far out of balance they have become! (Which...

    batteries and the ah con

I run my 48v nominal, MXUS at 14S (approx 60v charged) - using RC Lipo batteries. I use these as I use the same for my large RC Helicopters. The shunt is soldered and I draw 30a at maximum pull. I used to run with 15a capacity but my journeys are generally less than 15 miles so I have reduced it...

Thanks again John (Cycleezee), PM sent. Helpful as ever
