I (for a moment at least) was thinking the effective capacity was reduced in parallel as well as series - doh. I guess it's ok to use dissimilar capacity cells in parallel (as long as volts are matched before connecting).

Should be using the same capacity blocks when connecting in series or parallel. Still, the 10000mah ones should be capable of 25A constant - given a conservative (or realistic.. ) discharge rate of 2.5C.

What capacity (and arrangement) of Mulitistars do you have?

Just chipping in to say the RC community rate the multistars at 3-4C continuous.

Does anybody know what motor is fitted to this bike and more specifically if a no-name controller will be compatible? I've looked inside the motor and it appear to have a higher reduction ratio than most. Each planetary gear has a smaller one attached which mate to a (smaller than usual) ring...
