How do you replace the BB on the Bosch Performanceline CX?

The wearing out of the driveside bearing is a well documented one caused by ingress of water and or dirt into the bearing. There is an updated seal available. And yes, covered by warranty, bosch exchanges the entire motor for that but the bearing can be changed when out of warranty.

Bosch CX fitted to Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPA - Which removal tool for sprocket?

I've changed my 16t to a 18t and have a 11-42 cassette with 29 inch wheels. For me it was enough to stop me from spinning out but in the future i might change to a 17t. If i use the top gear i need to be going faster then 40 km/h otherwise the cadence becomes to low. Something to consider. This...

Giant bikes. Opinions on these two?

That is exactly what i mean, charts like those, if they use the correct numbers ofcourse, are the way you are able to compare different outputs. Maybe we will get independant scientific tests in the future.

Giant bikes. Opinions on these two?

Like i said, torque as just a number is very hard to compare. I work in chemical industry, we have a system with a tiny motor that spins at an idiotic rpm 10 or a 100k or something like that. It is subsequently geared down to an absolute crawl and that drives a big chain conveyor to feed a...

Giant bikes. Opinions on these two?

I think the torque figures are quite confusing, at what rpm are they? What cadence range? Is it at the crank or the rear wheel? In what gear? Makes it hard to compare systems. And you cannot compare hub and mid motor figures at all it seems, for instance the Stromer st2 has 35nm, but everyone...

Giant bikes. Opinions on these two?

Well you are way more seasond in Ebike lore than me so i will take your word for it. For me the 42t on the back and the motor helped me get up some steep bits. Then again i live in the north of the Netherlands were hills are nothing more than a vague memory. But that effectively rules out the...

Giant bikes. Opinions on these two?

Why would he need more than the CX? I'm 127 kg, ride a CX hardtail and i never feel underpowered. If anything, turbo is usually overkill, especially with the 25km cutoff.

    Riese+Muller Delite 2018 Nuvinci Review

That bike is a seriously awesome piece of kit, looks very nice! I’m curious to see how you like the nuvinci, i’ve read it is a cvt transmission, how do you operate it? If you don’t mind, i have a question about the dual battery system. Can you take one off and fully charge it and put it back on...

    New Lock?

I have bike insurance (in NL), i pay 6 euro's for full anti-theft insurance. As long as i use a lock with a ART certification i get full price including inflation for the first three years. Thats why i always use a single chain, nothing more. I am thinking about getting a lock thats easier to...

    Dreaded clicking

I think he means bring it to the dealer before warranty runs out, have them check it over and if anything is out of spec they can change it before the warranty runs out. Instead of waiting until a problem becomes bigger and going in after the warranty runs out.
