What experience/recommendations do people have for mud guards for HT ebike. Their only purpose would be for commuting when raining. I would not be concerned with using off road and ideally hug the wheel and can be taken off without too much hassle.

Are they going to give me a discount in evans or any money back, unlikely.

Because they had the word hybrid I discounted Cube initially thinking it was the style of bike, however, they call all their ebikes hybrids. The gearing works really well for my 18 mile each way commute so no complaints yet, maybe as my fitness improves I would consider a different front sprocket.

For an update I went with a ht, cube hybrid reaction 500 sl, the choice was for various reasons. I have riden it for two days since getting it 76 (road) miles clocked. i have to say its feels very nice to ride especially as I use to ride drop bar road bikes and tourers. I will post a review/up...

Turns out I used s 1amp shaving adaptor which the charger blew. Why they still supply uk with 2 pin chargers is a joke. Evans said they normally supply a visitor adaptor but have brought all the local supplies of them and have run out. I now have a visitor adaptor and the battery is charging...

Turns out battery won't charge at all now :(

Bet that's not cheap, didn't realise quick charging affects battery life, thanks for reply.

My bike came with a compact Bosch compact charger on paper it takes 7.5 hours to charge 500 battery. Are there any deals/after market chargers say either a standard or fast charger for a Bosch power tube 500 battery?

First ride today, the first bar went quickly into ride suggesting that it wasn't quite fully charged. Only used 2 bars in 18 mile route mixed assistance and switched off assistance where I could.
