I’m afraid I didn’t make it out the door with the bike today, got up and it was pouring down so took the car. Hopefully Friday will be the day for bike commuting, Regarding the mount, I was surprised it wasn’t metal when it arrived but seems to fit ok.

Hi Thanks for the response, yes it is a big jump but from what I had read the bike had a 17 tooth as standard, but that wasn't the case. I will try a 16 or 17 and see how I do. Regards

I want to upgrade the front sprocket on my bike. It currently has a 15 tooth sprocket and bought a 20 tooth but it is too big as the motor casing has a moulding which I guess acts as a chain guide. Has anyone updated a Trek Powerfly front sprocket and what size did you go for? Thanks

Hi John. No damage so far, I do use additional straps on the bike to keep it from moving around. Also removing the battery reduced the weight a bit.

I have a Saris Bones RS that I have had for a few years and not had any problems with it. They are really well made and the straps on mine are flexible steel covered in a plastic coating.

Hi All, I want to change the front sprocket on my Trek Powerfly to 20T and wondered if all front sprockets are created equal or are there some that are better than others? I have seen some FSA ones which is a brand i recognise, wondered if anyone had any experience good or bad on what is out...

I must have got lucky, my Trek supplied by Evans has a proper UK plug on the 4A charger.

I have just got the V4 and it fits really nice, i'm sure battery life will be less than the CR2 so I will probably carry a spare.
