    Help! TSDZ2 creaking noise

I am a hands on type of person, a toolaholic. I had to actually file the inside of the bb shell to fit it, as the shell was deformed due to factory welding. Also I had to file the motor casing itself to fit exactly flush to the chainstay (not much a few mil deep). It's not something anyone could...

    Help!! First ebike!!

Go with Halfords for they will fix it for you if something will go wrong. Of course their bikes are not bargain, the parts are cheap for the price, and build quality is merely acceptable. If it was for something more serious like daily commuting I would get a decent mid-range hybrid bike...

    Help! TSDZ2 creaking noise

It was the nut which is pressing the motor to the the BB shell, what I did was (excuse my terminology) smashed the big ass silver nut into submission with a BB spanner and a rubber mallet, I think I was able to move in another 45 degrees. Then I also took off the pedals, and greased the...

    Help! TSDZ2 creaking noise

It's a pedelec with pressure sensor. The motor would not run if I would not pedal with pressure. But yea, I can pedal without pressure too, but then the motor would not run. There is noise only when I pedal with applying pressure. I checked the pedals, they are as tight as they can be, should I...

    Help! TSDZ2 creaking noise

Only when I apply pressure to pedals / when the motor is running. I dread taking the motor off as it was really difficult to install it. I thought maybe the nylon gear is wearing off? Or there is not enough lubrication? There was no creaks when I installed it, tightening the bolts did not solve...

    Help! TSDZ2 creaking noise

Anyone has this motor can help me troubleshoot it? The creaking noise happens when I apply pressure on the pedals. It is quite loud I can almost hear it in the traffic. I have tightened all bolts it seems it either come from the pedals themselves or the motor. The motor is about 2 months old. I...

    How to find range?

I found a 48v 250W kit but the pound per hour does not agree with me. I am planing to spend no more than £400-450 because over £600 I can get a new bike and sell mine.

    How to find range?

I see. Quite confusing to a layman. The motor is limited to 15.5mph but not physically. And in that sense 48V makes more sense as it will pull more juice from the battery and get me quicker uphill while staying below the limit. That's how I see it. I had a look and I cannot find 250W 48V motor...

    How to find range?

I bet you're right, I bet they are the cheapest possible batteries. I have no idea what a max discharge current means, I can imagine it means if a motor needs more than 12 the battery will give away no more than 12 amps. But question is would a motor need more than max allowed?

    How to find range?

Anyone knows of any good 36v 10ah batteries? Around £150 mark I was looking at this...

    How to find range?

36V x 10ah = 360W/h what the hell is watt per hour anyway? So how do you calculate mileage from this figure? I read that in theory it will give me 20 miles BUT how?

why is it so hard to find 28 rear wheel with hub motor which is legal on road

Hey that's a good deal! Silver spokes could've been black though. 350W is above legal limit but then who's going to know right? The price of this kit is almost that of a refurb gtech which has a cleaner look. Maybe overkill for my needs.

why is it so hard to find 28 rear wheel with hub motor which is legal on road

I had my eyes on bbs02 which costs more than a semi-decent ebike on ebay, not quite a good deal if you ask me. Front hubs are not good with alloy and carbon which I've got on my bikes... All rear hubs seem to be ugly 26'' above 500w I'm weirded out... hopefully spring will show more reason and...
