Throttle goose, not good

Well, the throttle is definitely good. After writing a list of the parts needed and pricing them up, and not being too sure of parts availability in future I have decided to bite the bullet and buy a new bike. I will be looking for recommendations from you good folk if that's ok. I want one that...

I read that. If I went for that I think I would fabricate a mounting for it to fit under the handlebar grip so that it still pushes forward to accelarate. If he can explain the wiring it would be great. Just want to make sure I get the right part ordered.

btw, I think the gold wire was soldered to the PC just below the pale yellow one

Thank you for your advice. My throttle has 6 wires, the thumb throttle only has 3 . Will it still work? I realise I will have to make a wiring mod.

Thank you for your reply. The plastic parts inside the throttle control (handlebar grip) are broken and the wiring is worn through.

Hi folks. Please forgive me for making my first post a request. Could any of you good folk please tell me where I can find the serial, or model number on a Powabike. I am trying to find a replacement throttle but it is a very old bike. Thank you.
