    I bought a Space Genie Brompton Clone with the intention of getting it electrified. I havent done it as I was wondering whether stretching the forks would affect the fold. I am unsure if the front forks would be interchangable with Brompton forks, but if you had a 16in wheel built into forks...

    I have an old dell laptop (I think) with a duff hard drive, that I had forgotten about since getting my current one. current one has recently been hacked and so like the idea of setting up a separate one for anything financial. Is ubuntu easy to install on a new hard drive?

    I have a bike stand, a central one with 2 legs and it, just like yours, has become unstable. I havent tried it but I was thinking about trying to insert some sort of washer or maybe a bit of old rubber between the stand and the bike, so see if that improves things

    Dont get me wrong. I think the cycle highways could be very useful. Its just I am against the idea of making cyclists pay in order to not be at risk of being at danger from other motorists

    Couldnt help noticing the paid for by swipe card comment. Then of course I believe there will be a sort of compulsion to use such a route with embedded motorists attitudes such as, "You have your own cycleway, use it".
