What do you get for £1.88 these days?

Well actually quite a nice little mirror, not one of those massive lollipop things that get in the way of everything does all you`d want it to do, tilts, folds over when not in use. Fits into standard bars a treat. And if you break it, so what, order another!! linky...

Trying to construct a custom cassette

In the process of putting the final touches to a second BBS build, this time the HD version, and to be honest all i would need with this thing is five cogs at the very most, the torque is something else. It`s a complete waste of time clicking through them all. There`s a cheapy ETC 7 speed in...

    Another conversion looms.. suggestions please

Having done a BBS02 conversion on a 26" wheel MTB i thought i`d get something with 700c rims and possibly go with a hub drive this time, though i`m sorely tempted by the BBSHD and a Sturmey Archer 5 speed IGH. I picked up this Whyte on Ebay, seems to tick most boxes - 700c, hydraulic discs...

Disabling the cruise control on eFolder

Have a 250w rear hub chinese folder that goes into cruise control after about 7 seconds or so. It`s very annoying if you want to speed up suddenly as you have to kill the motor then reapply the throttle. Then you have to keep varying the throttle if you dont want it to lock into cruise again...

New Battery choice, 48v or 52v

These two options are similarly priced, both using the Sanyo NCR18650GA 3.7V 3450mAh 10A cells. I see in the states the 52v is more popular with the BBS mid drive setups, i`ll be using it with the BBS02 and probably later with the HD version. But i notice one has 65 cells (48v) and the other...
