    Neo Cross Review After 1000km

Hi Taff Could I ask you what you tink to the quality level of the components overall? When compared to say the KTM ecross p, on paper at least and for a bike that costs a few hundred pounds more (the bh vs ktm), the components are lower spec. This may be from the better r&d from having the...

Does anyone have a KTM ecross p?

Hi footloose It's good to know you are impressed with it. I read your post on the erace p. I'm just not sure about the mtb style over a cross type. And they are very difficult to get to test ride :( Thanks Matt

    cycle computer apps?

Hi David Have you seen the armpocket? It is a strap that fits round your arm and has more flexibility than being tied to a specific phone. Then when you change phones you don't need a new mount, might be safer than a mount as well. Matt

    cycle computer apps?

You only get about 2 hrs life from iPhone 4 running a GPS app like runtastic that I use. If someone rings you during the ride it hammers it.

Does anyone have a KTM ecross p?

Hi I posted this already but it didn't appear anyway... I wondered if anyone had a 2013 KTM ecross p, the one with the Panasonic hub motor, and wouldn't mind giving their impressions please? I can find a few reviews on the erace p and it reads well, but I thought the gearing looked a bit...

Does anyone have a KTM ecross p?

I wondered if anyone had a KTM ecross p and wouldn't mind giving their thoughts on it. There isn't much informing on the web about this particular model. Quite a bit about the erace p but I think the gearing is a bit short for commuting on the mtb style Thanks Matt

    cycle computer apps?

Take a look at runtastic app for your phone. They do different flavours depending on what sports you do. It lets you download the open cycle maps for when you are out and about so you don't have to rely on 3G. Then when you have finished the route or exercise there are plenty of ways to...

recommendations for bike for 12 mile commute each way

I tested the bh neo. I quite liked it to be honest. It was quite rapid at accelerating beyond 30kph. It wasn't a long test I had though. Next I want to try the KTM ecross p. it is a little cheaper than say the neo cross but appears to have better components. I also tried a different cycle...

recommendations for bike for 12 mile commute each way

Thanks David you are right and as some of the chaps above have pointed out, in order to average 16.5 you need to take advantage of any down bits. my mountain bike has 11T & 44T at the front and you have to pedal crazy to get to 30mph downhill. i wouldnt want to do that on a commute though.

recommendations for bike for 12 mile commute each way

Hi guys thanks for the replies. I definitely want to try anything before I buy. I hadn't realised 50cycles were in Loughborough, thanks for pointing it out. I thought 45mins wasn't too bad because when I had a go on a step through ebike it seemed quite easy to maintain 30kph (well...
