The bikes in question do have the correct EN15194 certification from TUV. Do I understand correctly that with this, there should be no problem importing and selling in the UK?

With the usual disclaimers that none of us are entitled to give legal advice, if a test house in Europe has signed off on the product as being in conformance then it is legal everywhere in the EU, except NI and Malta? As a subtle attempt to link with another thread, this is the advantage of a single market.

Don't forget to check the certificates with the test house. As, I said, many certificates provided by Chinese sellers are not for the bikes that they provide them for. Even if it were valid at the time of testing, it's too easy to change anything on the bike afterwards, so tread very carefully.
